2007 Fender Telecaster TL-Zebra in excellent, 100% original condition and in perfect working order. This rare, non-catalog “Crafted in Japan” Telecaster boasts eye-catching thick zebrawood caps on the top and back, sandwiching a mahogany core, loaded with a pair of Fender’s American Vintage single coil pickups.
As a tonewood, zebrawood is prized for its overall balance of low-mid warmth and treble articulation. The American Vintage pickups feature all the hallmarks of golden age Fender construction, with black bobbin flatwork, cloth-covered leads and Alnico V magnets, with flush-mount pole pieces at the bridge pickup. Bright and sparkling, the single coils deliver more warmth and percussive cut at the neck position, and plenty of twang and bite at the bridge. Lacquered Rosewood fretboard makes for a great feeling to the neck.
