Many guitars that we sell are sold on a commission basis. We have often had the pleasure of looking after these guitars over the years through our service centre and know their history and owners well. This typically gives us a great insight into the life of the instrument.
Our Service, Cost & Shipping
We will prepare (Fully Service/Setup) your guitar prior to marketing; a great opportunity to access the overall condition, functionality and originality which we can relay to potential customers, giving us a clear understanding and feel of the instrument as well as representing the instrument in the best possible way.
All Service/Setup costs will be charged at a minimum of £50, this covers the cost of any consumables and a fraction of our time.
We will professionally photograph the guitar and accurately describe the product in as much detail as possible.
Commission is charged at 10% plus VAT for guitars that are valued over £2500. Guitars under £2500 our commission is 15% plus VAT.
Commission is charged on the net price achieved, so after any sales costs; i.e card charges, external sellers fees and shipping costs.
Shipping your guitar within the UK will be charged at £25, this covers the secure & photographed packing, in custom double lined cardboard boxes, courier charge and insurance (goods in transit cover up to £10,000, any additional insurance is 1% per £1000) and this is for a fully tracked service, which includes giving the recipient a 2-4 hour delivery window on day of delivery. For high value and vintage guitars we will try hand deliver within the UK if collection from us is not possible, any costs will be charged accordingly and always agreed prior with both parties.
Shipping Internationally will be charged to the buyer accordingly, approx £100-£150 for USA & Canada, Europe min £75. We will prepare TSCA & PPQ forms for any international shipment, CITES requests and have a dedicated shipping agent for all of our international shipments who monitors the shipment throughout its transit.
All our guitars & amps will be listed on our Reverb Shop, often at a small premium to cover some of the additional sellers fees, Re-Sound, Google Business Page, Facebook & Instagram as well as any videos on Youtube.
