The most popular of all Gretsch’s, this model has been made famous by many players including Duane Eddy, Brian Setzer and obviously, Chet Atkins.

A primary feature change that signifies the ’60 model year is the 2.5” body and the adoption of the V-style Bigsby vibrato.  Many examples of this model year have been found with highly figured maple tops, backs and sides.  The 60’ 6120 is essentially a 2.5” thick version of the 59’

Amazing flame Maple and with a lovely finish this 6120 is striking! This batch of serial numbers starting from 367… feature some exquisite wood that was used from batch 359… the most famous being the John Entwistle 6120 that featured on Guitar Player in May 1982, the 1st guitar to ever appear on its own without the player! and quoted as the prettiest 6120 he (John) had ever seen.
